The Retreat Center at Highlands is our pride and joy. This 24-bedroom, 104-bed retreat center offers more adult-friendly accommodations for our guests. The center, as well as the attached dining/meeting facility, is fully accessible.

Each room comfortably accommodates guests primarily in full-length twin beds, with some queen-sized Murphy beds and Flex-Steel sofa sleepers available. Rooms can be arranged for couples, if desired. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, with the sinks and mirrors, shower, and toilet areas all separate.
Pets are not allowed on site due to multiple group use of our facility and wildlife habitats.
There are many possibilities for housing your group in the Retreat Center:
We have two types of rooms: standard bedrooms, which can accommodate 4-6 people each, and our suite-style arrangements that can accommodate 12-16 people in a 3-room configuration. The center room has a space that can be used as a small meeting area.
On the lower, garden level, there are three 3-room suites; the center room of each suite features a walk-out patio with a grand view of Mt. Meeker, a sitting area, and two sofa-sleepers, in addition to four full-length twin beds. Our garden level can host as many as 48 persons.
On the main level, there are 15 rooms consisting of three 3-room suites; the center room features a Murphy bed, a sitting area, and a balcony looking toward Mt. Meeker, and additionally, there are six standard bedrooms. The upper level can sleep up to 77 persons.
Linens are provided for your convenience in the Retreat Center. You will find your bed linens folded neatly in the room. The beds in many of our rooms are graced with beautiful handmade quilts; sewn and donated by quilters who love Highlands. The bathrooms have towels and washcloths as well. In order to keep costs minimal, we ask that guests make their own beds upon arrival and, at the end of their visits, remove sheets and pillowcase from beds.
There are no phones or televisions in the room and cell phones do not work at Highlands; however, there is a courtesy phone in the lobby and free wireless internet access available in the dining halls and some of the west wing of the Retreat Center.
Regardless of size, we will book your group into the configuration of rooms that will provide the best retreat experience possible. If there is more than one group staying in the Retreat Center, we strive to keep groups in separate portions of the building, so each has the privacy individuals may seek.
