Limits on occupancy for lodging
are based on state requirements.
Stay in our hotel-style Retreat Center. Linens are provided for your convenience. Plan a day of activities on site and schedule meals in our dining room. Or take a trip into Estes Park or Lyons for the day.
This 24-bedroom, 104-bed retreat center offers family-friendly accommodations for our guests. The center, as well as the attached dining/meeting facility, is fully accessible.
As of April 5, 2021 Boulder County Public Health allows for us to have 50% occupancy in our lodging. So our Retreat Center may accommodate up to 24 families or a total of 45 unrelated people.
Each room comfortably accommodates guests primarily in full-length twin beds, with some queen-sized Murphy beds available. Rooms can be arranged for couples, if desired. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, with the sinks and mirrors, shower, and toilet areas all separate.
There are no phones or televisions in the room and no cell service at Highlands; however, there is a courtesy phone in the lobby and free, limited, wireless internet access available throughout the Retreat Center.
Pets are not allowed on site due to multiple group use of our facility and wildlife habitats.
Contact Sue Spencer for information on availability.
Reserve one of our cabins. Paintbrush Cabin or Horse Lodge, sleep up to 10 people. These cabins have kitchens where you may prepare your own meals. And each cabin has a common room where your group may hang out to play games, read in front of the fireplace, sing songs, play charades, or any number of other activities.

Linens are not included in cabins though linen packs are available for $17 per pack.
