COVID Precautions

under Level Blue: Caution

Effective April 16 – May 16, 2021

Under Level Blue Highlands may operate at 100% capacity with 6’ social distancing between parties. Highlands’ capacity is 327 people.

 

Boulder County Public Health no longer requires masks outdoors as long as you are able to maintain social distancing from guests outside your household.

 

Check in is 4:00 PM and Check out is 10:00 AM – at this time we are not able to offer early arrivals or late departures.

Dining space:

  • Parties of up to 10 people may sit at each dining table.

  • Dining tables will be set with 6’ separation.

  • Long’s Peak and Meeker dining rooms will hold up to 6 tables with up to 10 people per table.

  • Hidden Room dining room will hold up to 5 tables with up to 10 people per table.

  • Outdoor dining is available on the deck outside the dining rooms for up to 72 people.

Meeting Space:

  • Groups are encouraged to sit around the same tables for meetings as they do for dining.

  • Meeting space, separate from dining, may be available for an additional fee. It would be set theater style. The same group, of up to 8 people, who dine together are asked to sit together in one row in the meeting area. With this configuration occupancies would be:

    • Long’s Peak and Meeker – up to 80 people

    • Hidden Room – up to 64 people

    • Chapel – up to 96 people

Retreat Center Lodging:

  • Retreat Center rooms may be booked to the capacity of the room. Please note for each set of twin beds there is 6’ distance from the middle of one bed to the middle of the other.

  • Guest group leaders will determine how many people will stay in each room.

  • We encourage non-related guests who may be staying in the same room to consider sleeping with their heads on opposite ends of the twin beds so maximum distance is achieved while sleeping.

Cabin Lodging:

  • Cabins may be booked to maximum occupancy.

  • Cabin occupancies are:

    • Horse Lodge – 9 bunk beds, 1 single bed, 1 double bed (20 beds)

    • Paintbrush Cabin – 7 bunk beds, 1 double bed (15 beds)

    • Antelope and Black Bear Cabins – 5 bunk beds per side in each cabin (20 beds each)

    • Bobcat Cabin – 8 bunk beds (16 beds)

    • Coyote Cabin – 6 bunk beds (12 beds)

  • We encourage guests to consider sleeping with their heads on opposite ends of the top and bottom bunk, as well as between bunk beds, so maximum distance is achieved while sleeping.

Whenever possible there will be a 24 hour period between usage of lodging rooms and cabins.
