This spring, Highlands is offering two work days for you to choose from so that you can share your gifts and talents while volunteering at Highlands! Mark your calendar now and plan to join the fellowship and fun. We’ll be opening cabins and buildings that have been closed for the winter and doing special projects to help prepare for an incredible Summer Program.

The Milestone Ride!
Cyclists and non-cyclists are welcome to Highlands on Saturday, July 17, 2010 for lunch, cake & ice cream, and entertainment as Cleon Kimberling celebrates his 80th birthday. As part of this event, a bicycle ride and puzzle contest will be held to raise funds for scholarships and the youth program at Highlands! 2009 Palettes and Pieces Auction
Many thanks to everyone who donated or purchased items for this year’s auction! Over 85 items were offered, featuring hand made quilts, paintings, photographs and so much more. Special thanks to Chrissy Starcher, auction coordinator, for all of her time and effort! The 2009 Palettes and Pieces Auction was a success because of the generosity of many! This year’s auction raised $7723.00 for debt reduction!

While most of our cabins serve our summer camp program for 7 weeks during the middle of the summer, we still have some availability for rental from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day at a great flat rate.
