Back for another year, Mother / Daughter Camp promises to be a special time spent together for mothers and their precious daughters. With crafts, games, and specially designed activities to nurture relationship between moms and daughters, this camp promises to be amazing. This program will begin at 4:00pm on Sunday, and conclude on Wednesday morning at 10:00am.

Come join camp naturalist, Terri Anderson, to explore Highlands and identify some of the 230 plus wildflowers that make Highlands their home. We will also identify many of the trees and shrubs that live on Highlands Presbyterian Camp and Retreat Center’s 265 acres.
This workshop is geared toward beginner and intermediate wildflower admirers. Participants should be able to walk 1 to 1.5 miles over uneven terrain, at a very slow pace, at an altitude of 8500 ft. (We are not training for a marathon, but we will be walking in the mountains — at high altitude.)

This program has been a tradition at Highlands for many years now. Come join us for a time of fun, relaxation, and to just be together with that special grandparent/grandchild in your life. Enjoy comfortable cabins or retreat center rooms, delicious food, s’mores, campfires, Bible Studies, camp activities, crafts, worship, and age appropriate games. Check-in and check-out for each camp differs. You will receive more information in your confirmation packet.

Please arrive at 9:30 am and bring water, a hat, raingear, sunscreen, insect repellent, and field guides (if you haveany; it is not necessary to buy field guides). Please wear close-toed hiking shoes and bring a sack lunch which we will carry with us into the field. The workshop will end by 3 pm after enjoying cookies and lemonade at the Retreat Center

Our Fourth of July Vacation is an excellent way to celebrate the holiday, with family oriented activities, Bible Study, evening vespers, and even a parade. Also, we will enjoy a community celebration of our freedoms and watch a spectacular display of fireworks in Estes Park. Be ready for the comforts of delicious prepared meals and the comforts of our cabins or retreat center rooms. Vacation begins Friday at 7:00pm, and ends Monday at 10:00am.

Ladies, come join naturalists Zelma Hall, Bonnie Sheppard, and Terri Anderson on a wildflower adventure. Experience firsthand the splendor of mountain wildflower beauty.
During this fabulous two night program, you will have the opportunity to identify wildflowers, trees, and shrubs in three life zones: Montane, Sub-alpine, and Alpine. Educational evening programs will help prepare you for discovery walks the next day. Between field explorations there will be plenty of time to relax and soak in some of the most spectacular scenery in all of Colorado.
This program is designed for all levels of wildflower enthusiasts and will be tailored to the experience levels of participants. Retreat Center lodging, excellent food, and beautiful mountain views promise to sooth and rejuvenate. So come one, come all!

This is a new intergenerational program designed for grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, or friends to bring their beloved “little buddy” to a Christ-centered community for a time of fun, excitement, and growth. Adults will enjoy Bible Study and mentoring skills, while also enjoying programs designed to encourage their relationship with their “buddy”. Children will also experience Bible Study and games, with time to foster their relationship with their special mentor. This program will begin at 4:00pm on Sunday, and conclude on Wednesday morning at 10:00am.
