Highlights
• Naturalists delve into the interconnectedness of Rocky Mountain NP’s environment, human activity, the impact of the seasons and efforts to protect park resources.
• Expert-led walks reveal the grandeur of the Rockies, including a rich abundance of animal life, an amazing wetland ecosystem and prehistoric archaeological sites.
• Visit the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder and walk its Walter Orr Roberts Weather Trail to learn about the climate of this mesa location.

Walking up to six miles a day. Elevations of 8,475 feet.
This program focuses on Spring flora and fauna as well as weather and climate with a field trip to the National Center for Atmospheric Research Mesa Lab. Enjoy the peak of raptor migration as you hike amidst the peaks and crags of Rocky Mountain National Park. Engage in guided star gazing into the pure and clear mountain skies. You’ll also encounter rustic life on a working ranch from 1873 and hear about mountain living from a local storyteller.
